Columbia River @ Port of Chinook, WA

 

Take Hwy 26 or 30 to Astoria. Go across the MeglerBridge taking you to the WA side of the river. At the Stop light across the bridge turn to the left travel approx. 2.5 miles. You will come into the town of Chinook WA where you can turn left on Portland Rd. This will take you to the Boat moorage Area where if you are facing the boat ramp I will be located on the right side where you will see a walk way leading you to the slips. Total driving time from Porltand approx. 2 hrs.

 

Port of Hammond Boat Ramp

 

HWY 30 West. from Portland ( Estimated travel time from Portland = 2 hrs

Go thru Astoria.. HWY 30 will become South Hwy 101 after crossing under the Megler Bridge (bridge to WA). Stay in right lane going thru European intersection. After you cross the draw bridge (Youngs Bay) You will come to a light. Take a right following the signs to Warrenton-Hammond. Go approx. 4 miles into Hammond. In Hammond you will come to a Red flashing light. Turn right and the Marina will be the next right turn. There is a $5 parking fee located at the ramp or near the restroom where they clean fish.

HWY 26 from Portland (Estimated travel time from Portland = 1 hour 50 minutes)

Go to Seaside. After going thru Seaside, before you reach Astoria you will see signs for “Fort Stevens Park” Warrenton-Hammond. just past the weigh station. Turn left . This is Hwy North 104. You will go approx. 1 mile.& turn left on DelauraBeach Ln. Stay on this road will take you into Hammond. Approx. 3 miles. You will come to a Red flashing light in Hammond. Go straight and take the next right into the Marina. There is a $5 parking fee located at the ramp or near the restroom where they clean fish.

 

Columbia R. (Mouth of Cowlitz @ Rainier, OR)

 

Take Hwy 30 West to Rainier. From Portland follow signs to Scappoose,St. Helens and then Rainier. Located across the Columbia R. from Longview, WA. When you arrive in Rainier you will come to the one and only stop light in town. Turn right and at bottom of hill you will turn right again at a stop sign. You will see a Bank of America on your left and a gravel parking lot next to it. Don’t use the asphalt parking except for Sunday. There is no parking fee for the gravel area. The moorage area is straight ahead. Total driving time from I-5 & I-217 junction approx. 1 hour 10 minutes.

Upper Willamette R. Roger Boat Ramp in Newberg,OR

Hwy 99 to Newberg. Go thru Newberg until you reach the point where the Hwy turns into a “one way” at that intersection there is large Flag pole. Turn left onto River Road. You will go approx. one mile and cross over the RR tracks. After you cross tracks, turn to your left down the hill to the ramp. Total driving time from I-5 & I – 217 juction is approx. 30 minutes

 

Clackamette Park


Take I-205 exiting at  exit #9 (Oregon City)

Turn right onto Mcloughlin Blvd

Take a left at the next light

Go down the hill to Stop Sign and turn right.

Go approx. quarter of a mile and take the next left into Clackamette Park.

There will be parking near the river bank or near the Restrooms.

Make sure you don’t park in the area where the boat trailers are parking.

Walk down to the area below near the Boat Ramp
